REGISTRATION FEE
          Registration fee for all categories below includes all meeting Symposia and Sessions at the main venue (Shinagawa) on 21-23 Sept., Satellite Symposium at Sunshine City Building (Ikebukuro), Welcome Reception on 20 Sept. (Ikebukuro), Meeting Program with abstracts of all presentations, lunch for 21-23 Sept., and refreshment breaks. Registration fee does not include Banquet Fee, Meeting T-shirt Fee, and Hotel accommodation. Abstract must be submitted electronically via this TCS Tokyo Meeting website. Please fill in the "Abstract Submission Form" in NEW SUBMISSION page, according to the instructions below. Submission by fax or postal mail will not be accepted.

Instructions  
  1. All abstracts should be submitted in English.  
  2. The limit of the presentation title is 25 words.  
  3. The abstract must be concise and shorter than 300 words or 250 words if a table or a figure is included.      
  4. Abstract submission can be made by inputting your abstract to "Abstract body" in the Abstract Submission page, or you can upload Word file after completing all the necessary information in that page.      
  5. If you input you abstract direcetly to "Abstract body" in the Abstract Submission page, the superscript, subscript, italic and bold characters can be entered as follows;

Italic can be entered:<i>X</i>

Two Types of Contributed Papers

     
   

1. General contributed papers: All subjects of crustacean biology for any taxonomic group.

2. Symposium-related, contributed paper : If you have an interest in one of the symposia organized (see the Symposia Page), you can take part in it as "symposium-related, contributed paper". Please ask the organizer of the sympoium first and obtain his approval to take part in the symposium. Contact E-mail address is in the bottom line on each symposium page.

     
Poster or Oral ?      
   

Authors are requested to state their preference for an oral or a poster presentation when submitting the abstract. However, the Organizing Committee reserves the right to change from an oral to a poster presentation depending on the availability of slots in sessions.

 

     
      Student Awards - The Crustacean Society      
          The Crustacean Society will bestow a series of awards for the best student oral and poster presentations. The exact number is yet to be decided. This is open to all student participants in the Tokyo Meeting. Students do not have to be members of The Crustacean Society. If you wish to compete for this award, and if you are the first author of the paper and you are a student or within 6 months after the graduation at the time of the registration, tick the appropriate box on the ABSTRACT SUBMISSION page. The awards will consist of one year free membership to The Crustacean Society or one year volume of Journal of Crustacean Biology if you are not the members of The Crustacean Scoeity, a cash award of US$100, a certificate of commendation from the Society, and notice of the award in the Journal of Crustacean Biology.
