著者名は全員記載. 文献番号は著者名アルファベット順 (筆頭著者が同一の場合は次著者のアルファベット順) とし, 同一著者の場合は年代順とする. 本文中に片カッコを付けて記す.

(6) 図表, 写真
　・写真に文字や矢印を記入する場合は,トレーシングペーパーをかけた上に明記すること.
　・写真裏には図表番号, 著者名, 天地 (上･下) を明記すること. カラー写真掲載を希望する場合はその旨を明記のこと.
　・図表･写真の番号が表 (オモテ) からわかるように台紙またはトレーシングペーパーに明記すること.
　・図表はすべて英文とし, 表題, 表脚注, 図説明は別紙に纏めて記載すること. ただし表に関しては表題, 表本体, 表脚注をまとめて記載してもよい. また図表の挿入箇所を本文原稿の右欄外に朱記すること.

4　論文の採否
査読委員の査読結果にもとづき編集委員会が決定する. 掲載にあたっては原稿の一部修正をお願いすることがある. また,場合により編集委員会の責任において修正を行うことがある. 採用の場合は, 原則として原稿を返却しない.

5　著者校正
1回のみ行う. 但し原稿の追加, 大幅修正, データの修正などは認めない.

6　著作権･出版権
本誌に掲載された論文 (図表を含む) の著作権と出版権は日本脳神経超音波学会に帰属する.

7　掲載費用
原則として無料であるが, 規定のぺ一ジ数を超過した場合およびカラー印刷の場合は別途請求する.

8　別刷代
別刷は有料とする (著者校正依頼のさいの添付書類により注文を受ける).

Instructions to Contributors

Neurosonology, the official journal of the Japan Academy of Neurosonology, is published for contributing to the development of neurosonology. Manuscripts should therefore contain original works dealing with the clinical or experimental neurosonology.
Published studies should be in compliance with human studies guidelines and animal welfare regulations of the authors' institutions.

l. Requirement for subtnission
All authors should be members of the Japan Academy of Neurosonology, unless approved by the Editorial Committee.

2. Manuscript classification
Manuscript classifications include review article, original article, case report, technical note, Ietters to the editor, etc.

3. Manuscript style
1) Manuscripts should be written in English.
2) Manuscripts should be typed double-spaced with wide margins.
3) Size of manuscripts
Manuscripts including text, references, tables and figures should not exceed the following limit, unless approved by the Editorial Committee.

4) The manuscript should be divided into the following sections: Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.
(1) Submit a title page with full title of the paper - short, clear, and specific - and the authors' full names with highest academic degrees and institutional affiliations.
(2) Include a separate page with a running head of 3 or 4 words, and name, address (including zip code), telephone and telefax numbers of the author responsible for galley proofs and correspondence.
(3) Submit on a separate page an abstract describing in less than 200 words exactly what was done, the results obtained, and the conclusions drawn. On the same page, Iist in alphabetical order, key words (2-5) for coding and indexing. Consult the Index Medicus for appropriate key words.
(4) References should be alphabetized by author(s) and should be flagged with a closing parenthesis in the text. Abbreviate titles of periodicals according to the Index Medicus. The names of all authors should be given. The style of the references conforms to the examples given below.

(5) Illustrations and tables
1) Only illustrations drawn on plain white sheet or photographs printed on glossy sheet shall be accepted.
2) First author's name, figure number and top / bottom should be indicated on back of the figures.
3) Arrows and letters except the figure numbers should be clearly marked on a transparent overlay.
4) Each table should be typewritten on a separate sheet with a title at the top and footnotes at the bottom. Include figure legends on separate sheets. Mark the location of figures and tables on the right margin of the text in red color.
5) Units of measure should follow the International System of Units (SI), for example: m, mm, I/m, kg, g, m2, l, ml, h, min, sec, and 'C. Conventional use of cm is permitted.

4. Acceptance policy for manuscripts
The Editorial Committee bases its determinations on the opinions of peer reviewers. Corrections of the original text may be required for publication. The Editorial Committee reserves the right to perform editorial corrections.

5. Proofs
Authors shall be required to correct a galley proof only once. It is not permitted to include additional informations, or significantly revise the text or data at this time.

6. Copyright
Copyright of articles printed in the Neurosonology lies with the Japan Academy of Neurosonology.

7. Publication fees
A fee shall be charged for printing color pbotographs and illustrations. The printing expenses for the excess portion of articles exceeding the specified lengths shall be charged to the author.

8. Reprints
A reprint order form with price list accompanies the galley proof.

9. Manuscript submission
1) Authors should submit an original and 2 copies of the manuscript and illustrations: 3 sets of glossy photographs should be submitted unmounted.
