Japanese Journal of Biometrics, the official journal of the Biometric Society of Japan, is published biannually by the Biometric Society of Japan.

Its general purposes are to promote and to extend the use of mathematical and statistical methods in pure and applied biological and medical sciences in particular in Japan.

Original articles, review articles, preliminary reports and papers which have been read at the annual meeting of the Society will be accepted for publication in Japanese Journal of Biometrics, if judged consistent with these general objectives.

Queries and problems for consideration under Consultant's forum are invited. Letter to the Editor are also welcomed and will be published at their discretion.
