1. Instructions for Submission
IOC and LOC welcome the submission of abstracts. An abstract should be submitted in accordance with the instructions below. Final selections will be made by the program committee of the 10th ICRS.

· General Instructions
· Oral Presentations are limited to only one time per person, while Poster Presentations are not limited.
· The title of each abstract must be less than 30 words, and the body of the abstract less than 300 words.
· Abstracts must be submitted between September 17, 2003 and December 25, 2003.
· Presentations will be cancelled if participants are not registered by January 31, 2004.
· Abstracts submitted online may be updated as often as you wish, or withdrawn by December 25, 2003.

Instructions for Submission
· General Instructions
(1) Please enter the following website in order to submit your abstract.
(2) Please input all necessary information and click "Submit". You need to input your password by yourself.
(3) `Use Equipment' will be valid only if you choose `Oral' or `Either' in the `Presentation Style' , although you have to choose at least one in the `Use Equipment.'
(4) If your abstract has been logged correctly, you will receive a Confirmation immediately by e-mail with a submission registration number.
» Please note that you will need your password and submission registration number when you update or withdraw your abstract.
(5) If you do not receive a Confirmation by e-mail, your e-mail address was not logged correctly. Please resubmit.
(6) Abstracts submitted online may be updated as often as desired, or withdrawn, until the deadline (December 25, 2003) by using your submission registration number and password.
» Please submit your abstract well in advance, as our website is expected to become congested immediately prior to the deadline, possibly delaying your submission.
» Please use Netscape Navigator 3.0 or later version or Internet Explorer 4.0 or later version.

2. Presentation Guideline
· Oral Presentations
1.Presentations
1) The official language for presentation is English.
2) Each speaker has been allotted 12 minutes for an oral presentation and 3 minutes for discussion. All speakers are kindly requested to strictly observe the allotted presentation time.
3) Presenters who are going to use PC for his/her presentation are requested to come to preview room for data registration.

NOTE:
We strongly recommend those who give oral presentation in the afternoon of June 28 to finish data registration on June 27 at Kariyushi Urban Resort Naha. We would also like to ask presenters on other days to finish data registration at 8:00-9:00 in the morning and 13:00-14:30 in the afternoon of your preview time. For those who need a preview are kindly requested to strictly observe the allotted preview time as indicated above. (e.g., if your presentation is in the morning on June 29, your preview time is 13:00-18:00 on June 28.)

2.Visual Equipment
1) A digital projector and overhead projector (OHP) will be available for each presentation.
2) Slide Projector is NOT provided
3) In preparation for technical trouble, we recommend that you bring your presentation documents on OHP sheets (transparent sheets) in addition to your original data.
3.Preview Room
1) Your presentation must be made using the following operating software and application software.
  Operating software: Windows XP.
  Application software: Microsoft Power Point
* Please create and save your file name in accordance with the rule below.

  If your session has several blocks, please make sure to mention which block you are participating.

2) Please bring your presentation file saved in the following media.
  USB Memory, CD-ROM, CD-RW
  Other media such as Floppy Disk, MO, DVD, ZIP, and Flash Card will NOT be acceptable.
· Poster Presentation

· Discussion time is set for poster presentation. Please see the following schedule.
· The official language for presentation is English.
2.Poster Preparation
· Posters should be prepared with the title of the presentation, author's name(s) and affiliation(s) in accordance with the panel format.
· Poster size: 90cm(Wide)×210cm(Heights)
· Poster panel size: 130cm(Wide)×210cm(Heights)
· Poster number is stuck on the panel by the secretariat.
3.Poster Display and Removal
· You are requested to set up your poster on the poster panel labeled with your poster number
· Pushpins are available at the poster panel.
· Display and removal of your poster should be conducted according to the following schedule.

*Each poster presenter has been allotted one presentation day for his/her poster (See Poster Session Program). Poster presenters should stand by their posters to explain and discuss their posters during the Discussion Time (12:40-13:40) on the presentation day.
· Satellite Meetings
The Local Organizing Committee welcomes groups of participants who wish to organize satellite meetings to discuss topics which are of interest to their groups. Rooms will be made available upon request. Persons those who wish to organize satellite meetings, please contact the secretariat of the 10th ICRS by fax or e-mail with information of title, purpose, schedule and needed equipment.
· Exhibition
An exhibition will be held at the Symposium site from June 28 to July 2, 2004. It is open to all participants. Exhibitors wishing to display their products should contact the Secretariat by fax or e-mail with details of your requirements at your earliest convenience.
