1.General Information
Application
An application in this circular or on the Official Web Site should be completed by each person.
Use FormB: Fill in, sign, and return to the Secretariat. Deadline for application is January 31, 2004.
Fees
Payment is due by February 28, 2004.
Excursion Choice
Provisional assignments will be decided in the order of which applications are received, and confirmed in the order of receipt of payments. Full participants have a priority over accompanying participants.
Excursion Price
The excursion price includes transport between the departure and the arrival sites, accommodation, minimum traveling insurance during the excursion. In the case of SCUBA diving, boat, tanks and weights are included. The price does not cover optional trips or activities, the cost of rental gears. For some excursions the prices are not fixed at present. The final price will be announced at the Official Web Site.
Cancellation
Please note that scientific excursions may be cancelled if the minimum number of participants are not registered. In such cases you will be offered the choice of changing to another excursion or having your excursion payment refunded.
The 10th ICRS SCUBA Application
Those who wish to SCUBA diving on excursions are required to submit the followings;
A. Authorized certificate card for SCUBA diving
B. Liability Release and Assumption of Risk Agreement
C. Standard Safe Diving Practices Statement of Understanding
D. Medical Statement.
The forms (B-D) will be sent from the trip leaders.
Diving Gear
Diving gear can be hired at diving services. However, wetsuit, boots and BCD of extra-large size would not be available in every diving service. Contact your trip leader for information about the rental gears.
Please be notified that collecting and exporting living specimens are strictly prohibited.
