The AOCRP-2, the Second Asia and Oceanic Congress for Radiation Protection
Beijing, China, October 9-13, 2006

The Asian and Oceanic Association for Radiation Protection, AOARP, is an international organization that consists of national Associate Societies in the region of Asia and Oceania. Its purposes are to encourage and stimulate exchange of information between the Associate Societies, to strengthen the activities of each Associate Society and assist in the formation of national radiation protection societies in the region. This Constitution defines the work and structure of the AOARP. It was drafted based on the 4th Meeting of the Asian Regional Committee for IRPA-10 held on May 18, 2000, Hiroshima, and was approved on December 8 2000 by the following Associate Societies:

Australasian Radiation Protection Society (ARPS)
China Society of Radiation Protection (CSRP)
Indian Association for Radiation Protection (IARP)
Japan Health Physics Society (JHPS)
Korean Association for Radiation Protection (KARP)
Philippine Association for Radiation Protection(PARP)
