BUTSURI, meaning 'Physics', is the bulletin (in Japanese) of the Physical Society of Japan, primarily for its 19,000 members embracing more than 90% of the physicists in Japan and some outside. Nevertheless, subscriptions from non-members are welcome, and individual issues may be ordered. Libraries are invited to provide opportunities for its audience to see the BUTSURI.The subscribers consist not only of physicists but also scientists in related fields and science teachers as well. The contributors to the BUTSURI are not restricted to the members. It is a useful source of information about current trends in physics, and in particular what's going on in Japanese physics circles and how the problems of physics as well as those of physics and society are approached in Japan.
