About Us



Japan society of Engineering Geology (JSEG) was established in 1958 to achive the following objectives.
  • Progress of the reseach for engineering geology that relate to various exploitation and construction
  • Improvement and development of technology
  • Communication between menbers
Now JSEG has the members more than 2000 from industrial,academic,and govermental organizations, and is the leading society of engineering geology in Japan.
In 2008 JSEG celeblated 50th anniversary and held the commemorative conference looking back the 50 year hisory of JSEG , and published the commemorative issues. JSEG was re-established as a incorporated association in 2009.
