| The 3rd Asian Symposium of Engineering Geology at Yogyakarta in Indonesia will be held in September 2001. Some members of the JSEG will attend the symposium. | |
| The JSEG dispatched the Secretary General of the Japanese National Group to the IAEG Councilfs meeting for 2001 on August 5, 2001. | |
