This journal is a bulletin of a Japanese society of Mammalian Ova Research
and dealt with a theme mainly on mammalian oocyte. The research area crosses
agriculture, veterinary medicine and medical area. The journal is a biannual
publication consisting of articles based on original studies and reviews
dealt with gametogenesis, fertilization, embryo development, implantation,
pregnancy and genetics. And this journal also deals with assisted reproductive
technology in the area of reproductive medicine. We take up a theme of
a topic quickly and carry several reviews for the same theme. This “Mini
symposium” is a special‐feature contents in the journal.
